Kiefer curled up on a doorstep, ready to die. Thankfully, the homeowners found him and contacted us. A volunteer went and retrieved him, and Kiefer immediately began receiving life-saving care, antibiotics, subcutaneous fluids. Kiefer's jaw is shattered from blunt force trauma (a car? a cow?) and he needs surgery to make his jaw comfortably functional. Surgery is scheduled for 3/18/20 with a written estimate of about $4000. Kiefer loves life and appreciates all the kindness shown to him. Thank you for your support!
