In 2018, we lost our Brother and Uncle Kit. Kit was a shining light in all of our lives, reminding us to smile no matter what life hands you. He participated in the Special Olympics growing up and those memories are something my Dad holds on today as a reminder of the importance for all of us to create opportunities for people with disabilities to feel like they belong and can do more than we or they think is possible. This year will be our second year plunging in his honor. We will be participating in the Holland Polar Plunge on February 16 2019. Purchasing a t shirt will go directly towards our fundraising goal for the Special Olympics through the Polar Plunge.
