Goal
CRSPIA (Cuyamaca Rancho State Park Interpretive Association) was founded in1977 to support Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. Those of us who support the park and Volunteer there have a Heritage of over 40 years of giving back to the public, the park, and nature.
We give about 10K hours a year to the Park, and do almost all of the trails maintenance. We run and staff the Visitor Center Store, and do all of the foot, bike, and horse patrols. We also schedule and pay for and develop support educational programs and facility improvements. It has been 14 years since the fire destroyed the Dyar House. We have been operating out of boxes and our vehicles, and of having our facilities spread all around the park. It is time to spur the rebuild process into action, and this fundraiser will help us get the Grants and other Major financial support needed to pay for such a multi-year multi-million dollar endevor. Our Board of Directors is all volunteer, and none of receive any compensation for running the non-profit. The volunteers pay for their own uniforms and equipment, and almost all of their expenses. When you buy shirts for this campaign, you are helping an efficient organization make things better for future generations. Give them as gifts to fellow outdoor lovers, go for easy Holiday Shopping, or just show your support around town! Thank you!!
